Throughout history, perfume has always had a place in society but its role has changed over the years, with changing fashion and social trends. Perfume has played a role in religious ceremonies. Perfume has been a social symbol of wealth and position. Perfume has reached out to the masses to the point where the use and appreciation of truly fine fragrances has been sidelined in favor of pleasantly scented candles, hairsprays, and body washes. But the pleasures of fine perfume will be rediscovered and, once again, perfume will be elevated to a more exalted throne in our social consciousness.

The fragrances presented at this website were not created to compete with leading fragrance brands found at your local mall. Nor were they created to compete with scented personal care and household products. Rather, they are presented as treasures to restore inner balance, enhance calm, confidence, and attractive powers, promote physical health through improved mental outlook, and give daily moments of joy.

Yes, all of this through perfume.

On my desk, instead of a reed diffuser, I have a simple rock with a hole drilled into it that holds a folded test blotter. Some weeks it will hold a blotter dipped in a classic fragrance from the past. Other weeks it will hold a blotter scented with one of the fragrances presented here. I do this for my personal pleasure.

From the test blotter the scent is light; the scent is subtle. But the scent is there and it fills me with an intense inner happiness and makes my work go better; my day more upbeat. I have never had this experience from scented candles or air freshners.

Today you have the opportunity to share these pleasures. Looking back you will find the cost negligible. The experience is supreme.
